Electron beam evaporation coating
Under high vacuum, the electron gun filament is heated to emit hot electrons, which are accelerated by the accelerated anode to obtain a large amount of kinetic energy and bombard the evaporative material. The kinetic energy is converted into heat to make the evaporative material heated and gasified, and the electron beam evaporation coating is realized. The electron beam evaporation source consists of a hot cathode which emits electrons, an electron accelerating electrode and a coating material which ACTS as an anode. The energy of electron beam evaporation source can be highly concentrated, making the coating material locally reach high temperature and evaporate. By adjusting the power of electron beam, the evaporation rate of coating material can be controlled conveniently, especially for high melting point, high purity metal and compound materials.
